In a Maintenance Minute: Apple iOS app update and Android version launched

GE Aviation's Maintenance Minute videos provide engine maintainers on-demand general engine maintenance tips and best practice video tutorials via YouTube or the Maintenance Minute app.

So, what’s new for the Maintenance Minute app? An update to the Apple iOS app and an app version for Android devices. 

Apple iOS Maintenance Minute Version 3 app (released February 7, 2018)

This version features exciting enhancements, including an expanded menu that enables video downloads and includes CFM’s LEAP engine and Boeing 737 aircraft system videos, as well as the ability to create your own favorite videos library.

The new app version is available on Apple’s App Store and runs on iPhones and iPads. To find and download the Apple iOS Maintenance Minute app, follow these quick steps:



Android Maintenance Minute app launched (released February 7, 2018)

The app version for Android devices (phones and tablets) includes more than 55 videos with an expanded menu that enables video downloads and includes CFM’s LEAP engine and Boeing 737 system videos – plus the ability to create your own favorite videos.

Available for download via the Google Play Store, the app runs on both Android phones and tablets.

“This free, cloud-based app gives individuals access to videos in some countries that don’t have access to YouTube,” says Eli Lessing, senior training manager at GE’s CTEC technical training services facility in Cincinnati, Ohio.
